"Active For Life"

The Ohio State USBC BA was well represented recently in a brochure for “Active For Life”, a 20 week plan to teach simple, practical ways to be more physically active. This program is put on by Council for Aging of Southwestern Ohio. Zone Director D. Joe MacFarland was featured in this brochure as well as Ken Griffey’s Stars & Strikes for Kids Celebrity Bowl. At the festivities were many Cincinnati Red’s stars as well as professional bowlers Brian Himmler, Brian Ketscher, Bob Learn and Tommy Dulch. Even Marv Lewis, head coach of the Cincinnati Bengals attended this function on Wednesday September 5th. Proceeds benefited Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center.
